Mum Advisory Board
Ethel - Events Coordinator
I joined 365 mum because I know how lonely and challenging motherhood can be, so I really value being part of a community to network with other mums virtually and also in person, share ideas, advice, rants, bants and most importantly having a safe space where we can be vulnerable and uplift each other. I was happy to join the board as I want to do my part to contribute to such a meaningful movement!
Sally- Hospitality Lead;
I joined 365 Mum network, and then the Mums advisory board after having children and experiencing the ongoing lack of support for black mums. 365 Mums space does not only give mums the support and advice from other mums navigating motherhood, it also has qualified professionals and empowers the woman behind the name MUM.
We occasionally in person and virtually meet to pray, play and organise events for our mums too, which I believe every mum needs to make motherhood a smooth and joyful journey.

I joined the 365 Mum Network because I wanted to be part of a community where mums, especially Black mums, can feel seen, understood, and supported. Too often, we carry so much balancing work, family, and identity while trying to hold everything together.
This network creates a safe space to share those experiences honestly and find strength in each other’s stories. It reminds me that I don’t have to do it all alone, and that together, we can build the kind of support and sisterhood we’ve long needed.
Joining the advisory board gives me the opportunity to help shape that vision and ensure more mums feel connected and empowered through it.
Juwon - Mental Health Consultant
I joined 365 Mum because I just wanted to be part of a supportive space with other mums who get it. Sometimes it can feel like we’re juggling so much, and I really needed somewhere to connect, share, and feel encouraged. Being part of the board means I can also help make sure other mums get that same sense of support and belonging too.
Debbie - Social Media Coordinator
I joined 365 mum because I understand the importance of having other mum friends especially when your friends aren’t mums yet. Being a part of a community of other BLACK mums makes so much sense as they are able to relate on a better level.
Having a group of mums you can turn to when your baby has new symptoms or if you’re worried about them reaching milestones can really take the loneliness out of motherhood.
My favourite part of being apart of 365 mum is that we don’t just focus on motherhood but also the woman behind mum and her aspirations and goals.
Being apart of the board means I’m able to support and encourage other mums in remembering who they are and also having fun whilst doing so.

Vicky - Communications Lead
I joined 365 Mum as a first time mum, nervous and unsure of how to navigate a new normal, but also adapting to the mental and physical challenges and demands of a new born. I had discovered my child had severe eczema, unsure of how to build up my self confidence and interact with other mums with similar lived experiences, Anj (founder) encouraged me to join the group and interact with some other mums with similar experiences. Even though every child is different, and experiences may vary, it’s nice to hear similar experiences and get advice on how things were managed and dealt with. It’s given me so much confidence in helping other mums too, which is why I joined the board.
